Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Instructions
 

  • Cook bowtie pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and reserve 1 cup pasta water.
  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika. Sear in butter and olive oil 5-6 minutes per side. Remove and rest.
  • Sauté garlic in skillet, add heavy cream, and whisk in parmesan to make creamy sauce.
  • Toss pasta with sauce, adding reserved water as needed. Stir in parsley.
  • Slice chicken and serve on pasta. Garnish with extra parsley and parmesan.

Notes

For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream. Add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor.
