Ingredients

12 oz ziti or penne pasta

2 cups cooked chicken breast, cubed

2 cups broccoli florets

2 cups heavy cream

3 tablespoons butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil


Instructions

1. Boil pasta in salted water according to package directions. Add broccoli during the last 2-3 minutes. Drain and set aside.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet. Cook cubed chicken with salt and pepper until golden and cooked through. Set aside.

3. In a saucepan, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute. Add heavy cream, simmer until slightly thickened. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted. Season with salt and pepper.

4. In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, broccoli, chicken, Alfredo sauce, and half the mozzarella. Mix well.

5. Pour mixture into a greased baking dish. Top with remaining mozzarella.

6. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes until golden and bubbly.

7. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

This dish can be prepared in advance and baked just before serving for convenience.

For a spicier kick, add a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes to the Alfredo sauce.
