Ingredients

4 black tea bags

2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped

1 cup sugar

6 cups water

1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

1. Boil 4 cups of water and steep tea bags for 5–10 minutes. Let it cool.

2. In a saucepan, combine strawberries, sugar, and 1 cup of water. Simmer until berries are soft.

3. Strain the mixture to create a smooth syrup.

4. Mix syrup and brewed tea in a pitcher. Add lemon juice if desired.

5. Add remaining 1 cup cold water. Chill in the fridge.
