Ingredients
450g flank steak
250g cherry tomatoes
150g fresh mozzarella balls
1 handful fresh basil leaves
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
3 tablespoons balsamic glaze
Instructions
1. Preheat oven or skillet to medium-high heat. Toss cherry tomatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast or sear until blistered and caramelized. Set aside.
2. Season steak with salt and pepper. Heat remaining olive oil in a skillet or grill pan. Sear steak 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare. Let rest 5 minutes, then slice thinly.
3. Arrange steak slices on a serving platter. Top with roasted cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, and torn fresh basil.
4. Drizzle generously with balsamic glaze. Serve warm and enjoy.
Notes
Let your steak rest before slicing to retain its juices.
Use high-quality balsamic glaze for the best flavor contrast with the steak.
