Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
2 cups cooked white rice
1 cup broccoli florets
1 medium zucchini, sliced
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon chili flakes
1 tablespoon olive oil or sesame oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Cook rice according to package instructions and set aside.
2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Add broccoli, zucchini, bell pepper, and mushrooms. Sauté for 6–8 minutes until slightly caramelized.
4. Add garlic in the last minute of cooking the veggies, season with salt and pepper, then remove from skillet.
5. In the same skillet, cook ground beef until browned, about 5–6 minutes.
6. Drain excess fat, add soy sauce and chili flakes, stir, and cook for another 2 minutes.
7. Assemble bowls with rice, stir-fried veggies, and spicy beef.
8. Garnish with sesame seeds or green onions if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a dash of sesame oil at the end before serving.
