This easy recipe fits right into your list of go-to quick dinners, healthy meal ideas, and family-friendly food ideas. Perfect for your next summer BBQ or cozy indoor meal — a delicious upgrade from basic burgers.

Ingredients

1 lb ground turkey (85-93% lean)

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)

2 medium yellow onions, thinly sliced

2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

4 slices provolone cheese

4 brioche buns

1 cup fresh greens (arugula or spinach)

Instructions

1. Slice onions and cook over low heat in olive oil for 20-25 minutes until soft and caramelized. Add balsamic vinegar in the last 5 minutes. Set aside.

2. In a large bowl, mix ground turkey with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Form into 4 patties.

3. Heat a skillet or grill over medium heat with a touch of oil. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side until they reach 165°F. Top with provolone slices and cover to melt.

4. Toast brioche buns in the skillet or grill until golden and slightly crispy.

5. Assemble: Place greens on bottom bun, add patty, top with caramelized onions, and close with the top bun. Serve hot!

Notes

Do not overmix the ground turkey; it keeps the patties juicy and tender.

Toasting the brioche buns helps hold the juicy layers together without getting soggy.
