Ingredients

1 pound chicken breast

8 ounces penne pasta

1 packet Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

2 cloves garlic, minced

4 ounces cream cheese

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil

salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

1. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then sear in olive oil over medium heat until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

2. In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 1 minute. Add chicken broth and heavy cream, then stir in ranch seasoning until smooth.

3. Lower the heat and melt in cream cheese, followed by cheddar cheese. Stir until sauce is creamy.

4. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

5. Return chicken to the skillet and stir in the cooked pasta. Toss until fully coated and heated through. Serve warm.

Notes

Add a splash of reserved pasta water or extra broth if the sauce gets too thick.
