Ingredients

3 egg whites

1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar

1 pinch salt

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1 package (3 oz) flavored Jello gelatin mix

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 200°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

2. In a clean bowl, beat egg whites with cream of tartar and salt until soft peaks form.

3. Gradually add sugar, one tablespoon at a time, beating until stiff peaks form.

4. Gently fold in the Jello powder until fully mixed and evenly colored.

5. Drop spoonfuls or pipe meringue onto the baking sheets.

6. Bake for 1.5 to 2 hours until dry to touch, then turn off the oven and let cool inside.

7. Once completely cool, store in an airtight container at room temperature.

Notes

To prevent cracking, cool the cookies inside the oven after baking.

Use any flavor of Jello for different colors and fruity variations.
