Ingredients
1 pound rigatoni pasta
1 pound ground Italian beef
3 cups marinara sauce
1 cup diced onion
3 cloves garlic minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 cups cubed Velveeta cheese
1/4 cup milk
Instructions
1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the rigatoni until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onion until translucent, add garlic and cook another minute.
3. Add ground Italian beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
4. In a saucepan, melt Velveeta with milk over low heat until smooth and creamy. Stir gently to avoid separation.
5. Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large baking dish, layer pasta, beef marinara, and cheese sauce. Mix gently or keep layered.
6. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes until bubbly and slightly golden on top.
Notes
Add red pepper flakes to the marinara if you love a little heat.
Let it sit 5 minutes after baking for easy slicing and serving.
