Ingredients

450g bowtie pasta

500g lean ground beef

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons butter

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the bowtie pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until no longer pink. Season with salt and pepper. Drain excess grease.

3. Add butter to the skillet. Once melted, stir in the minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

4. Lower the heat to medium. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine with the beef and garlic. Simmer for 3–4 minutes.

5. Add the parmesan cheese and stir until melted and the sauce thickens.

6. Toss in the cooked pasta. Mix until evenly coated and heated through.

7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley and an optional crack of black pepper.

Notes

For best results, use freshly grated parmesan—pre-shredded cheese doesn’t melt as smoothly.

Add a splash of reserved pasta water if the sauce becomes too thick while mixing.
