Ingredients
200g sirloin steak
250g penne pasta
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup heavy cream
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
1. Season steak with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning. Sear in a hot skillet until golden and cooked to your desired doneness. Set aside to rest.
2. Cook penne pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, lower heat and melt butter. Add garlic and cook until fragrant. Stir in Cajun seasoning and paprika.
4. Pour in heavy cream and stir until smooth. Let simmer until slightly thickened.
5. Add pasta to the skillet and toss until coated in sauce.
6. Slice the rested steak and layer over the pasta.
7. Garnish with chopped parsley and a sprinkle of paprika if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
Let the steak rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing for juicier results.
If reheating leftovers, add a splash of cream or milk to revive the sauce texture.
