Ingredients

113g cream cheese (softened)

24 large green olives (pimento-stuffed)

60g finely chopped pecans or walnuts

1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)

1/4 tsp onion powder (optional)


Instructions

1. Drain the olives and pat them dry thoroughly with a paper towel.

2. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese with garlic and onion powder if using.

3. Flatten about a teaspoon of the cream cheese in your palm.

4. Place an olive in the center and mold the cream cheese around it completely.

5. Roll the wrapped olive in chopped nuts until fully coated.

6. Repeat with all olives and place on a tray lined with parchment paper.

7. Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes to firm up.

8. Insert toothpicks before serving for easy handling.

Notes

Be sure to pat the olives very dry or the cream cheese won’t stick well.

You can swap the nuts with crushed crackers or herbs for a nut-free version.
