Ingredients

8 ounces rotini pasta

1 pound ground beef

1 cup sweet corn, drained

1 small yellow onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 1/2 cups tomato sauce

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

1. Cook rotini pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat.

3. Add chopped onion and garlic to the beef. Cook until onion is translucent.

4. Stir in tomato sauce, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5–7 minutes.

5. Mix in the corn and combine well.

6. In a large bowl, mix the cooked pasta with the beef and corn sauce until fully coated.

7. Transfer to a greased baking dish and top with shredded cheddar cheese.

8. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes
