Ingredients
12 oz linguine pasta
2 large chicken breasts
2 tablespoons butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Season chicken with salt and pepper. In a skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter over medium heat. Sear chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and let rest.
2. Cook linguine in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
3. In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter and sautée garlic for 1 minute. Pour in cream and simmer. Add Parmesan and whisk until smooth.
4. Toss cooked linguine in the Alfredo sauce. Adjust consistency with pasta water if needed.
