Ingredients
2 Granny Smith apples
1 cup caramel sauce
1/2 cup chocolate chips, melted
1/4 cup crushed peanuts
1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
parchment paper (for lining tray)
Instructions
1. Wash and dry the apples thoroughly. Core and slice into 1/3 to 1/2 inch rounds. Optionally brush with lemon juice to prevent browning.
2. Melt caramel in a saucepan or microwave, stirring until smooth. Add a splash of milk if it’s too thick.
3. Dip apple slices halfway into the melted caramel and place on a parchment-lined tray.
4. Drizzle the slices with melted chocolate and sprinkle with crushed peanuts.
5. Chill the tray in the refrigerator for 10–15 minutes until set. Serve immediately or store chilled.
Notes
Make sure the apple slices are completely dry to help the caramel stick better.
Store leftovers in an airtight container with parchment paper between layers to prevent sticking.
