Ingredients

12 oz penne pasta

1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breast

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

4 tablespoons butter

4 cloves garlic minced

1.25 cups heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

0.5 teaspoon salt

0.5 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons chopped parsley optional


Instructions

1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook penne until al dente, drain, and set aside.

2. Cut chicken into bite-sized chunks. Pat dry and season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add chicken and sear until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Melt remaining butter, then add garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
